Sora Aviation - eVTOL aircraft
Bristol-based Sora Aviation is developing an Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft that can carry up to 30 people on short, affordable urban trips. With support from Innovate UK Business Growth, the company was able to partner with the Welding Institute, develop key partnerships in the US and explore the South Korean market, where it secured pre-orders for 20 aircraft. The company also secured more than £2.1m in grant funding.
