Exciting News: Genesis Launching on 1st July!
We are delighted to announce the launch of our digital Preferential Origin validation tool, Genesis, on July 1st!
In preparation, our team have been familiarising themselves with the UK’s trade agreements with its global partners and working closely with the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) to ensure a comprehensive understanding of preferential rules of origin. Some of our team have been in Paris this week with ICC, getting an update on Genesis and the latest news around Free Trade Agreements and preferential rules of origin.

What is Genesis and How Does it Work?
- Genesis is designed to make the export process more secure. Exporters can upload an invoice with a preferential origin statement to our platform. Our team will verify the products using HS (Harmonised System) Codes against the relevant trade agreement.
- Once validated, the invoice will receive stamps from the Chamber of Commerce and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
- This process ensures that your overseas importers have confidence in the preferential origin status of the goods they purchase, verified by an authorised, independent body.
Additionally, we offer consultancy services and bespoke training for businesses that find navigating preferential rules of origin and trade agreements challenging.
