What is AMTEC? How Technical Excellence Colleges (TECs) support employers and skills development.
What is AMTEC? The Advanced Manufacturing Technical Excellence College (AMTEC) is Weston College's new specialist technical training centre in Filton, supporting the UK's aerospace, engineering, defence and advanced manufacturing sectors. As one of only four government-designated Technical Excellence Colleges (TECs), AMTEC works closely with employers to develop industry-relevant skills, apprenticeships and talent pipelines, helping businesses address skills shortages and build a future-ready workforce.
