The Enterprising West of England ‘Ones to Watch’ 2020 Awards is a celebration of the West of England’s most exciting and inspirational entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs who have received support from the Enterprising West of England Programme and are set for great things as we head in to 2020.

27 outstanding entrepreneurs and small businesses have been shortlsited in nine separate award categories, recognising the best of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, as well as the region’s most promising BAME, young and female entrepreneurs.

The likes of Freelance Mum, Weston-super-Mare PRIDE and Bath Carnival will compete for the contribution to the place of the West of England award, which celebrates the contribution of businesses that put back into the community, whereas Groovy Grains and Too Many T-Shirts are among the nominees for the sustainable business prize.

The Enterprising West of England ‘Ones to Watch’ 2020 Awards will be held on 29 January at the Bristol Old Vic and will showcase the best and brightest entrepreneurial talent the West of England has to offer and help to demonstrate why this region has been named the best place to start and run a business.

Cassie Yates, Project Manager for Enterprising West of England - the event’s organisers - comments:
